ENR has a large ground position covering 1,300km2 within the Paterson Province of WA, which is also home to Aditya Birla’s Nifty copper mine (ENR’s BM1 is located 45km south-east of Nifty) and could emerge as a significant new copper province.
A systematic drilling program has been driven by the identification of targets via geophysics and geochemistry. ENR has had technical success confirming key aspects of its model for a Nifty-type deposit, including an oxide deposit near-surface and the presence of chalcopyrite at depth.
The nearby Nifty project was a 148.3m tonne resource at 1.43% Cu and is characterised by a near-surface copper oxide deposit with a far more significant copper sulphide deposit at depth.
